This is Steve, he is not actually a master bath vanity! We will get a photo of him, I promise.

Steve is the newest addition to the Harmony Cabinets crew.  More on him to come!

This is Jacob. He likes to design spaces.

Jacob's path to becoming a designer was as direct as they come. When he was 5 years old, he announced to his father that he was going to draw every place he could! The die was cast, and Jacob eventually...

"A man who works with his hands is a laborer; a man who works with his hands and his brain is a craftsman; but a man who works with his hands and his brain and his heart is an artist. Every one of us is, even from his mother's womb, a master craftsman of idols."    - Louis Nizer

Our History

It was fate that brought Skip and Jacob together. Despite living in two completely different worlds, they were both very much in need of a refreshing change in pace. Jacob from Columbus, OH was working around the clock doing custom concrete furniture designs and fabrication while dreaming about surfing, and smelling the salt air of the ocean with open overhead doors while working in his shop.  Skip, on the other hand, was living his dream of creating beautifully crafted cabinets on the outer banks of North Carolina, and taking the perfect lunch breaks to catch the latest swell that has just rolled into town.  Skip was about to be on his path to finding a new career as the original owner of Harmony Cabinets was getting ready to liquidate and retire to Hawaii after 25 years of doing what he loved, making cabinets.  Jacob caught wind of this transition while up to his elbows in concrete, and took the next flight out of town to have a chat with Glen about taking over his business.  Within just a few months Jacob and Skip were back on track to living their dreams, and making the dreams of their clients come to life in their outer banks homes.
